What ever happened to Integrity?

Integrity- adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty  What ever happened to Integrity? When political correctness came to be did integrity go out the window?When you say things that people want to hear you can not say what you feel. Is this being true to yourself? To many people twist the truth to make it fit what they need.I guess that money or the want or need drives to many people to loose their integrity. Justified in their own mind to make it right on. How can people choose to lie when in the heart they KNOW the truth. And so do you. They still look you in the eye and say a falsehood  and expect you to believe the lie also.

NO morals or ethics this is what the problem is . How hard is it to do the right thing? It must be harder than doing what fits. Taking the easy way out.  How do we survive with this way of thinking? Many things play into the way you live you life. Social status,Bank account,Your job in life,The way you treat others . Having money does not make a person immune to Integrity. The hardest thing is telling people the truth when you know they do not want to hear it. From personal experience I sometimes do not want the truth but I need to face it to move on . Bitter sweet as it may be. If we all tried to be a little more truthful to ourselves and face our own short comings we could deal with others as well. Look to yourself first . Then you will begin to see what Integrity is . It comes from within.
